Co-curriculum Activities
Each and every student is supposed to join a club of her own choice, normally we have our clubs day on Wednesday. This helps the mind to be active after a busy day in class. The following are the active clubs we have in DMA:
- Interact The club is involved in various activities for the community like cleaning services to market places or hospitals around. They also visit childrens homes, where they clean and have some fun with them. The club also runs the water purification program, in which every student and teacher at school gets a bottle of clean water every day.
- Scouting Scouting is a voluntary, non political, educational movement of young people open to all without distinction of origin and race. The Purpose of scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intelluctual, social, spiritual, emotional and character potentials as individuals and responsible citizens.
- Maths Club
The Mathematics Club deals with the study of Mathematics as a subject. The main aim for the members is to attain excellent grades in mathematics and to enjoy searching for mathematical solutions. The club has been divided into groups. Each has a leader to guide the members - Agriculture Club
The newest club is our agriculture club. The girls who take agriculture as a subject use the opportunity of our big compound to get practical experience. They plant vegetables for the school kitchen and learn, which vegetables can be planted successfully in an area with many monkeys and wild pigs.
- Each group has its own set of rules with a required minimum grade for each member. This is done to ensure the students can be easily monitored and their progress noted. The club members pride themselves with determination to improve academically and trust in their motto "Five Sums A Day Keeps The E's Away".
